When I try to add evidence, I get the error message "Unable to find processing manager."
- Open up Add/Remove programs and make sure that the Evidence Processing Engine for your version of the product is installed.
- If this is a new single-box install, open up services.msc and make sure that there is no "Distributed processing engine" service showing. If it is, then the processing engine was accidentally installed as distributed. Uninstall the evidence processing engine and install it again, being sure not to check the "install as distributed box" during the install.
- Make sure that the PM folder (Default location: C:\ProgramData\AccessData\PM) or the drive it's located on has permissions to the local system, logged in user and/or service account.
There are several possible reasons the Processing Manager can might not be accessible.
