64-bit Internet Explorer issues with Summation

Problem

"I can see the log-in screen and log in but soon after that it asks me to install silverlight. I already have installed silverlight. I can never get past this screen."

 

or

 

"I only see a white screen when I log in."

 

or

 

"I'm having odd issues with the user interface (UI)."

 

Resolution

Use 32-bit Internet Explorer (iexplore.exe *32) rather than 64-bit

Right Click on your Internet Explorer Icon and edit the Target Path to point to the 32 bit version of the Internet Explorer executable.

32bit Target - "C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"

64bit Target - "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"

Cause

Silverlight is not fully compatible with 64-bit Internet Explorer
