Question

What are virtual fields?

Answer

Virtual columns are system fields included in the database that do not have a physical column to display in the user interface.

Searching using virtual columns will result in records being displayed in the item list that meet the search criteria, but the column will not appear to display the data. These fields can be selected in the Advanced Search builder when building a Conditions search and can be used in the quick search box.

Below are the virtual fields and their associated search operators. Also, attached to this article, at the bottom, is this content in PDF format.
