If you install or move ElasticSearch after installing Summation/eDiscovery, you may need to point to ElasticSearch's new location before you can use the KFF.
Note: In any multi-box distributed installation, you must always point to the KFF by machine name.
- On the machine with FTK Business Services (the App Server), open “C:\Program Files\AccessData\Common\FTK Business Services\ AdgWindowsServiceHost.exe.config” in a text editor.
- Near the end of the file, locate the
- Find the following key, and change it to reflect the appropriate hostname and port:
<add key="KffElasticSearchUrl" value="http://localhost:9200" />
- Save and close the file.
- Restart the “AccessData Business Services Common” Service.
