Question

How do I change the port that NLS is using to listen for connections?

How do I change the port that the NLS web interface uses to manage licensing?

Answer

NLS License Connections

This port is controlled by the registry key and value below

Key = HKLM\Software\AccessData\Products\NLS

Value = dataport

NLS Web Interface

This port is controlled by the registry key and value below

Key = HKLM\Software\Wow6432Node\AccessData\Products\NLS

Value = httpport

The attached scripts can be run instead of making manual registry adjustments.

Overview

Changing port(s) is useful in environments where only specific ports can be used for network traffic.
