FTK Evidence Menu Items are Grayed Out
The following is a list of reasons why Additional Analysis may be greyed out:
- Open Session (Additional Analysis is disabled while jobs are running, or in certain situations where a session has locked a case)
To close an open session, use "Session Management" found in the "Database" menu of the Case Management dialog. If no sessions are found to be currently open for that case, a reboot of the Oracle Database server may resolve the issue.
- Permissions- Only users with Application Administrator or Case Administrator privileges over the case have permission to use "Additional Analysis" menu option. Case Reviewer users are denied the permission required to run that function.
- Processing Engine is not installed correctly.
