What does it mean - single server? when Database is in the same server?

And multiserver - when database is separately?

I just finishing installing 5.6 with separate MS server in two sites - and I have used unsupported procedures to change configuration files (support refused to assist, and during install there was no option to choose).

So for upgrade, which app version I should use, and which document I should follow to upgrade from 5.6?

Single server meaning all our components are on the same server. If you are looking for more options during install use the advanced installer.

Where do we find the DBConfig tool?
I ask because we didn't install Summation Pro, Access Data did the install.

Usually found at C:\Program Files\AccessData\DBConfigTool then look for DBconfig.exe
