How to configure OneDrive

Prerequisites:

  • eDiscovery 6.1 and later
  • Access to OneDrive URL's for each user
  • Access to an account that can access that particular user's OneDrive 
  1. Find the appropriate User's URL for their OneDrive storage.

It should look similar to this.

https://domain-my.sharepoint.com/personal/username_domain_com/

  1. Log into eDiscovery.
  2. On the Data Sources page, click SharePoint.
  3. Click + to add a new URL.
  4. In the SharePoint Details panel, fill in the required fields.
  5. Click OK to save this configuration.
  6. Verify the new URL shows up in the SubSites panel.
  •   Web Application URL
  •   Username
  •   Password
  •   Confirm Password


If you receive the error below, verify the User Name and Password are correct.

 

To collect from a person's OneDrive:

  1. Click on the + to create a new collection.
  2. In the pull down box, select Collection.
  3. Select SharePoint in the selection box below.
  4. In the SharePoint tab, select the OneDrive URL that you need to collect from.
  5. Complete the collection as you would any other collection.
